Because ACF of Metro Atlanta was founded by an educator, our commitment to education remains at the heart of our mission. For more than 30 years, we have worked to strengthen learning opportunities for children and support the educators who guide them. Our programs have provided thousands of books to schools and families, awarded scholarships to college students, and supported after-school and summer learning initiatives focused on reading recovery, academic skill-building, and subject tutoring. We believe that education is one of the strongest pathways to opportunity—and every child deserves a fair chance to succeed.
